More leg room!06/04/2009
Hey all, I hope everyones having a good start to their summer and we just wanted to let out some good news before everyone gets busy with the nice weather.. Who am I kidding, you guys are will be sitting in your basements gaming the whole summer away, and I'll be right there doing the same :)
Back to the good news.. We've been in talks with the Conexus Arts Centre and looks like we'll be switching venues from the West Harvest Inn to the Conexus for our next event and all upcoming R-Dot's as well. They have a very large room we're going to take advantage of, and are excited to move to. This will allow us to expand for more people, it already has WAY more power to us (for all you fish tank case ppl), and will let us eventually expand into some consoles/big screen displays!
So our fall and next spring event dates are already set. They will be October 23rd-24th 2009 and May 15th-16th 2010 at the Conexus Arts Centre. Book the time off work, put it in your calandars and get ready for, literally, the BIGGEST R-Dot to date!
On a side note, I'd like to thank the staff at the West Harvest Inn for the past few years in support and helping us evolve R-Dot into what it is today. They were always very helpful and we wish them luck in the future.

10 Sleeps and new prepay option!April 13th, 2k9
So.. 10 sleeps left until 6.0 and I don't think I've ever been this pumped for an event. We've worked our butts off to bring you guys our best lan to date and we plan on delivering! I also wanted to put out there that there is only 7 days left to prepay and get in cheaper than everyone else.
I'd like to add that OTV has offered to sell PrePay seats for the same $25. We're bringing this in for those of you who don't have paypal and would just find it easier to pay this way. I know it's a bit late (our fault), but OTV has said they will step up and do the same thing for all our future events. Making it easier for you nerds to get your cheap seats and ensure that you're going to frag some face off at R-Dot! :)
Spread the word guys and gals, we're reaching new areas of the province and don't be left behind. Lots of new things are on the horizon and you're all going to be apart of it! Woots!!!

6.0 Registration = Open!03-02-2009
Hey everyone, you read it right.. 6.0 registration is open! Now there are a few changes this event (and for all upcoming events), such as the PrePaid option. Please follow the instructions to make sure you don't get missed and it will make it so much easier on us. More information on how to Pre-pay properly can be found in our forums under the 6.0 event.
We've also had some big changes with our sponsors. A new local computer shop has arrived in Regina, and after supporting our last event, they have signed on as our main local sponsor. I'd like to throw out a big Thank You out to OTV. These guys are just as pumped as we are about gaming in Sask, and have the store full of goodies we love to drool over at an unbeatable price. If you ever need anything, I advise checking these guys out (www.otvtech.com) as you couldn't find any better place in the province.
We would also like to thank all the sponsors that are with R-Dot and continue to show their support to local gamers. These companies go out of their way to make our events possible, so don't forget to check out our Sponsors page and show them some love.

R-dot 5.1 Burstered the Seamzors!Nov 3, 2008
R-dot 5.1 was a major success in more ways then one. We were near max capacity at this event, with more gamers, more tournaments and more prizes than ever before. We want to thank all the gamers for coming out and putting on a good showing in all the tournaments.
A big thank you goes out to all our sponsors that helped make this event happen, we brought on board a few new sponsors and it really helped the event grow.
Thanks to the staff as per usual, they are great bunch of guys/gals and without them things would fall apart. On that note if anyone out there wants to pitch in and become a staff member please contact Tom or myself and we can put you through the ringer.
R-dot 6.0 has been scheduled for April 24-25, 2009 so book the time in your calendars and I will see you there with some new surprises.

More RDot Sponsorships!!Oct. 4th, 2008
I'd like to send a special thank you to our own staff member siLz. He has been busy working his butt off lately, spreading the word about RDot and has found us a ton of new sponsors. It is tough to find companies with as much enthusiasm about gaming that we do, but siLz has gone through literally hundereds of emails trying to find the best of the best. We can't stress it enough that without our sponsors, we wouldn't be running today.
So again, I'd like to thank siLz for his hard work and would like to thank the following sponsors for seeing what we're all about and becoming apart of it. Ontop of our already great sponsors, here's a list of the new guns...
- Velocity Micro
- WolfKingUSA
- Palit
- Alienware
- Gigabyte
- and last but not least, CPU (ComputerPowerUser magazine)
These guys work hard at delivering some of the top of the line products we drool over, so check them out. All of their links/banners can be found under our Sponsors page and can only hope you guys are getting as pumped as we are for this event. Bring on da fraggin!
